A symphony of light

Searching for Lady Aurora, my friends Theresa, Kim and I visited Thornbury, Ontario, a beautiful settlement bathed by Lake Huron in Canada.

A once in a lifetime spectacle was about to be performed and we were blessed with nature’s colourful symphony of light, it was breathtaking. In the middle of the performance, we heard loud bass booms joining in, it was humans, joining with some light music of their own creation.

In harmony, nature and humans performed together a magical show and painted the dark sky with light strokes of many colours.

I captured the instant with my old faithful Lumix camera. This was a very difficult shot as I needed to account for the quick bursts of light created by humans and ensure I captured the beautiful soft pilars of light that that nature used to colour the canvas full of possibilities that is our night sky.
